This small wooden board with cheese, preserves and crackers on top would make a lovely gift for your hostess as you attend a Thanksgiving celebration. Would be extra-special presented as a gift basket.

3. As a Centerpiece on a table which will provide guests with nibbles of cheese, charcuterie, fruit and baguette. For your Thanksgiving table you may want to provide 1 wooden board per every 2-3 guests. Harry’s NEW wooden boards don’t have handles and will fit one right after the other in the middle of the table.

4. As a Cutting Board for chopping and slicing in the kitchen. Does not take up as much counter space as other cutting boards and are easier to clean.

Cheese Platter for Two Recipe

Ingredients

Two cheeses

  • 1 soft cheese (exc., brie, camembert or goat cheese)
  • 1 hard cheese (exc., cheddar or manchego)

For a light meal you will want 3-4 oz. of cheese per person, and for a snack or appetizer, 2 oz. per person.

1 Charcuterie (prosciutto, salami or another type of cured meat)

1 Carb (baguette bread, crostini, crackers or bread sticks)

1 Salty or Sweet

  • Salty (nuts, olives, pickles or artichokes)
  • Sweet (jams, honey, dried fruit, seasonal fruits or preserves)

Directions

Remove cheeses from fridge approximately one hour before serving and unwrap to let breath. Arrange foods artistically on Harry’s Cheese Board for Two. General rule is to place cheeses mild to strong, from left to right, or clockwise. Make sure that each cheese has its own knife or spreader in order to prevent mixing flavours.

Climate Awareness

On this day of Climate Awareness Herma and her staff have been considering ways in which we may help with the environment. Bags are a big concern for us and we are trying to come up with a solution. For now, however, we do urge shoppers to bring reusable bags to the store.

We look forward to your visit and wish you well as you prepare for a fabulous weekend.

Sincerely,
