Join Herma and Gordon in the Studio along with Margaret and Janis in and around the Cheese Shop this Saturday between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a special event involving strawberry themed appetizers meant to inspire for summertime entertaining.
We believe a drive-up County Road 28 just north of Port Hope will guide you to some really special places including gorgeous Lavender Fields (Laveanne) and an outdoor art gallery which offers Canada’s most comprehensive and eclectic collection of Zimbabwean Stone Sculpture (ZimArt). Both destinations would be a lovely place to enjoy picnic foods purchased at Herma’s.

Canada Day Celebrations call for grilling steaks and enjoying barbecue outdoors. At Herma’s find a wealth of barbecue sauces, mustards, ketchups and the like from which to choose along with the Village Grocer’s hand-picked, juicy Marinated Flank Steaks, Rib Eye Steaks and Prime Striploin Steaks. Their flat chickens and sausages along with all sorts of sides may also be found in our freezers.
