The possibilities on how to enjoy your Burrata cheese are endless. We have even heard of a beautiful ball of Burrata being placed in a Gazpacho soup that mimics the same ingredients of a Bloody Mary minus the Vodka.

The traditional, most popular way to serve?

A Caprese Salad

Place pieces of Burrata on top of tomato slices. Add basil leaves and drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Season generously with salt and pepper.

All Burrata recipes are best served with a crisp white wine.

What is Burrata?

Created in Italy in the early 20th century, burrata originated as a way to use up extra curds left over after making mozzarella. A piece of regular mozzarella is formed into a pouch and is filled with a mixture of leftover curds and fresh cream. To seal up the mixture a knot is twisted on top.

Just arrived? Porchetta Ham from Italy

Have Porchetta Ham sliced to your liking by Janis, Margaret or Herma. This thinly sliced ham will  easily fall onto your plate in delicate folds as you prepare to serve it.
