Cheese Department

This Saturday will be a special day in the cheese department as Cathy will be performing the long-awaited task of cracking open Cuor Di Fieno – a cow’s milk cheese that sits in a bed of hay.

CUOR DI FIENO made in Italy is a firm cheese made from cow’s milk and wrapped in fresh hay. Its rind is slightly coarse. The aroma is rich with an intense barnsy scent. The flavor is bold and surprisingly sweet, with veggie notes that are reminiscent of the meadows where the cheese is produced.

We hope you will join us for one or all of the events we have planned in coming months. Have a wonderful weekend!

Sincerely,

Meredith Ender
