Horseradish Beet Salad with Goat Cheese Recipe
using the Garlic Box’s Horseradish Garlic Jam
Photo and Recipe (modified by us) from the Garlic Box
Instructions:
1. Place the walnuts in a skillet over medium-low heat. Heat until warm and starting to toast, then stir in the horseradish garlic jam. Cook and stir until evenly coated, then remove form the heat and set aside to cool.
2. Place a large helping of baby greens onto each of four salad plates, divide candied walnuts equally and sprinkle over the greens. Place equal amounts of beets over the greens and top with dabs of goat cheese. Drizzle each plate with Mango Balsamic Vinegar.
Brianna’s Ginger Mandarin Dressing would be a nice substitute for the Balsamic Vinegar.

Herma’s Cheese Shop
We have an amazing selection of cheeses in our coolers that will look lovely on a cheese board for outdoor dining and snacking.
Cheeses we expect to arrive by this weekend are those perfect for Raclette and Fondue entertaining. These culinary past times are often considered winter-time enjoyment, however we believe they’d be especially festive and fun outdoors on warm summer nights. Find all that you need at Herma’s for summertime fun!
Featured Cheese
Moliterno aux Truffles
This gorgeous pecorino-style sheep’s cheese in the shape of a large basket has delicate dark veins which are actually large streaks of black truffles. This truffle sheep’s cheese with PGI designation hails from Potenza in southern Italy and is produced using centuries old methods.
What makes this truffle cheese striking is that the truffles are added during the ripening of the cheese rather than at the beginning of its production (which is common with most truffle cheeses).
Consider pairing with dry white wine, or to heck with it all, why not Champagne?
Have a fantastic weekend. We look forward to seeing you in coming days.
Be well and stay safe.
Sincerely,
Meredith Ender
