Ceder’s Distilled Non-Alcoholic Gin

The Amazing Swedish Dishcloths
The eco-friendly, bacteria-resistant, easy-to-clean cloths are a fabulous alternative to sponges, paper towels and cleaning rags. Save money and the environment — one dishcloth can replace 15 rolls of paper towels and they are 100% compostable.

Since 2005 Herma’s Signature Products have been made on a weekly basis in our very own kitchen using fresh ingredients in small batches. Herma’s Signature Products may be served as a fancy hors d’oeuvres, eaten as a casual, midnight snack or used as an ingredient in a recipe.

How may I use thee, let me count the ways. While we believe all the Signature Products are delicious on their own, below are just some of the many other ways our products may be used.
Herma’s Stilton Pâté
This Stilton has been pureed and added to brandy, butter and other happy ingredients. A little spoonful may be just what you need to make your meal extra-special. Dollop on a juicy steak or hamburger.
Lemo-licious
Lemo-licious is a lemony cream cheese delight made with fresh herbs. This mixture is a key ingredient to one of our favourite hors d’oeuvres. Place Lemo-licious on a cracker or melba round and top with salmon and dill.
Seafood Dazzler
Use Seafood Dazzler and a thin slice of cucumber to make the loveliest tea sandwiches or try placing on cherry tomatoes (halved). A delicious meal? Toss Seafood Dazzler with grilled shrimp (sliced) in a sauce pan and placed in a toasted brioche roll.
Savoury Cheddar Spread
This wonderful blend of the finest Canadian cheddar pureed with herbs, spices and Worcestershire is delicious added to any recipe requiring cheddar. Place in omellettes, use as part of a Mexican queso dip or toss with broccolli and/or cauliflower in a sauce pan.
Sundried Tomato Dip
This dip is delicious as a sauce placed in a cheese omelete or tossed with cubed chicken and placed in a yummy savoury crepe.
Bacon Cheddar Spread
Bacon and cheddar have always been delicious when added to a potato dish. Try placing our Bacon Cheddar Spread on top of baked potatoes. Yum!
Herma’s Chevre
This mixture made with olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and fresh herbs is lovely tossed in pasta or stuffed in chicken breasts.

While our Signature Products are versitile and may be used in many different ways, they are a delicious treat all on their own. Below is how we like them paired…
Stilton Pate w/ Pumpernickel Round – Liver Pate on Cracker w/ tiniest smidgen of Onion and Raspberry Jelly – Sundried Tomato Dip w/ Spicy Cracker or Tortilla Chips – Marinated Goat Cheese Round w/ crispy Crostini – Beer Cheese Spread on a hearty Cracker accompanied with your favourite Pint of Beer
How long will they last?
Products are made fresh weekly in our very own kitchen, so what you purchase in our coolers is freshly made. We expect products to last approximately two weeks when stored in a cooler or fridge.
Savoury Cheddar, Beer Cheese and Stilton Pâté may be kept frozen, if you like, and will keep for 6 months. If you desire a frozen container, be sure to ask someone to get it for you from our Cheese Shop freezer.
Featured Cheese
Le Douanier
This is a semi-soft cheese with a washed and brushed rind. It is similar to morbier with an edible ash that runs through its middle. With its earthy aroma and organic flavour, Le Douanier tempts the palate with a hint of nuts and green apple.
