Herma’s News – New arrivals including Jellycat, Jacqueline Kent and Baggallini
Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul – and sings the tunes without the words – and never stops at all. – Emily Dickinson
We always get a glimmer of hope that spring is on its way when new merchandise arrives this time of year. The colors and packaging of spring is exciting to behold along with the appearance of fluffy little bunnies that may be found throughout our store in unexpected places.
To us, nothing says Easter more than Jellycat’s cuddly, soft bunnies. But that’s not all…we also have the frog prince, llamas, lambs, pigs, ducks, koalas, pandas, lions, leopards, sheep and guinea pigs. Come and see all the NEW cuddly stuffies perfect for your little one or as something cheerful for yourself.

The Cheese Shop
We have many snackilicious cheeses that pair beautifully with beer – just too many to list, however a couple of those yummy cheeses are being featured this weekend…
Applewood Smoked Cheddar
This scrumptious treat hails from the farmhouses of Somerset, England. It has a delicate smoky flavour and lovely smooth texture. Paprika accounts for the extra added spice needed for this to be considered a perfect pairing with dark beer.
This Spanish cheese is an exciting combination of cow, sheep and goat’s milk. This cheese is earthy with a mild goat tang and the buttery taste of sheep’s milk. It is also very versatile – great for snacking, grating over pasta or melting in a grilled cheese, even placed on top of onion soup. In Spain, it will often be used for tapas with chorizo and a hearty bread. Think of Iberico as Manchego’s intellectual cousin. Just as Spanish yet more sophisticated.
And of course when beer is mentioned, let’s not forget…
Herma’s Signature Beer Cheese Spread
Made with a local old cheddar, beer, horseradish and other good stuff….oh, and perhaps the odd hiccup. Cheers!
We look forward to your next visit. Have a lovely weekend.
