The Jolly Cut Old Fashioned (smoked)

Use either the original or smoked Jolly Cut Old Fashioned syrup.

Pour .5oz Old Fashioned syrup over ice.

Add 2oz of your favourite whisky, aged rum or tequila.

Stir well.

Squeeze an orange zest to express citrus oils over the glass & enjoy!

A Perfect Hot Toddy

Use Jolly Cut Old Fashioned Syrup.

Warm your mug by adding hot water, then discarding after 30 seconds

Add 2oz whisky

Add 1oz Old Fashioned syrup and top with boiled water.

Wrap your hands around that warm mug and enjoy.

A Jolly French 75

Use Jolly Cut Organic Simple Syrup.

Fill a flute 1/2 way with chilled, dry sparkling wine

Add 1oz gin (optional)

Add .75oz lemon juice

Add .75oz Jolly Cut simple syrup

Give a very gentle stir and serve

This is a wonderful cocktail for entertaining. This works best if the gin, lemon, syrup are chilled too. You can batch this mix ahead of time and keep it in the fridge. That makes it a simple 2 pour cocktail mixed in the glass to be made whenever guests show up. You’ll look extra fancy. You can switch to vodka if you don’t like gin.

Classic Daiquiri

Use Jolly Cut Organic Simple Syrup.

Add 2oz of good aged rum to a shaker

Add 1oz Jolly Cut Organic Simple syrup

Add the juice of 1 fresh lime

Shake well with ice, and strain

Optional garnish, lime zest

Sweet Bobby Manhattan

Use Jolly Cut Old Fashioned Syrup.

Add 2oz of bourbon or rye to a glass with ice

Add .25oz Jolly Cut Old Fashioned syrup (or Smoked syrup)

Add .75oz Sweet Vermouth

Add 3 dashes of aromatic bitters

Stir well and garnish with a cocktail cherry

Bobby is a sweet boy. His Manhattans are too. If you like vermouth, this is for you

The Jolly Cut Sour

Use original or smoked Jolly Cut Old Fashioned Syrup.

You’ll need a shaker & strainer for this one

Add 1oz Jolly Cut Old Fashioned Syrup

Add 2oz whisky (Rye or Bourbon)

Add 1.5oz fresh lemon juice

Add .5oz pasteurized egg whites (optional)

Shake all ingredients with ice for hard to develop a frothy texture. Strain onto fresh ice and enjoy!

The sour is a refreshing and potent all season cocktail. It should be a staple drink at any good bar or gathering.
