Truffle Serving Suggestions

Just one whiff of the intense aroma that comes from truffles will have you salivating for the rich flavours sourced from this sought-after, foraged, edible, subterranean fungus – a rare delicacy. Find a large assortment of truffle products at Herma’s like those found below.

Truffle Oils may be added in unison with flakes of parmigiana to pasta dishes, risotto, soups and drizzled over pizza.

Truffle powder may be added to enhance any food with the taste of truffle, like that of French Fries for instance. Just remember, a little goes a long way.

Truffle pearls contain the juice of truffles and are delicious. With the look of caviar they also play a nice decorative role when placed in soups, with eggs and also sprinkled over plates of gourmet finger foods.

Truffle mustard may be spread on anything calling for mustard. We especially enjoy it on a juicy hamburger which gives it an elevated taste.

Truffle vinegar may be made into a salad dressings for something entirely different or perhaps as a nice dipping sauce for bread.

Mushrooms and Truffle in Oil may be added to either plain butter or chicken stock along with grated Parmigiana. Use as a condiment for pasta and rice or add to meats, fish, boiled vegetables, eggs, warm crostini and  pizza.

Hint while cooking…Avoid overheating so as to not lose the truffle’s aroma.
