Join us for Fondue
Fondue Presentation this Saturday 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
We have both the Fondue pot and the cheeses to go with it!
When cold weather hits, no culinary delight is more sensual and cozy than that of fondue. At Herma’s we have both the cheeses (Gruyere, Emmentaler and Fontina) and a great selection of Fondue pots of all sizes to make your fun happen. From main party feasting to side dish on an appetizer table, we have you covered.
History of Fondue
The word Fondue comes from the French word, fondre, which means to melt. The first recipe recorded dates back to 1699 and was referred to as Kass mit wein zu kochen, meaning to cook cheese with wine.
Be sure to join us this Saturday to talk Fondue and to enjoy shopping in the beautiful wonderland that Herma and Gordon have created.
Sincerely,
Meredith Ender
