Herma's Christmas Message

Herma’s Christmas Message

Dear Friends,

The seasons come and go and the year has flown by so quickly. Here we are at Christmastime and I am overjoyed to be taking part in your holiday plans and gift giving.

With the New Year approaching it is time to reminisce and think about all our blessings. 2016 has brought me many of those, starting with the renovations that took place creating what is now our new Studio. I am so grateful to my husband, Harry, who made it all possible. I feel the store has never looked better.

Wonderful events took place in our studio this year which included the Food for Thought series in spring and summer, Art of Entertaining Classes in the fall, and our Open House in November.

We hope most of you were able to attend at least one or all of the open house events as we put them on precisely to show our appreciation to you for being so good to us. I feel you are all my friends and that I am entertaining you in my home, especially during this time of the season.

Just recently I received a poem from customer and good friend, Wayne Schlepp. It touched my heart as it truly captures my vision of what the store means to me and what I wish to accomplish. Here’s what was written…

Where is a place with goods so grand?

It’s Herma’s!

And food to cover every demand?

It’s Herma’s!

And a richness well beyond all dreams?

It’s Herma’s

And a place where the light of Friendship beams?

It’s Herma’s

I would like to thank my team at Herma’s who make everything at the store possible. They, along with myself, would like to also THANK all of you for your loyalty and support.

We wish one and all of you a very Merry Christmas and the Happiest of New Years!

Herma and Harry
